The Grade II Police Constable, Grade II Jail Warder, and Firemen recruitment exams for 2022 have been scheduled by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Staff Recruitment Board (TNUSRB). The TN Police PC exam date announcement is available on the official website, tnusrb.tn.gov.in, for candidates to review.
On November 27, the TN Police Constable written test for 2022 will take place. Tamil Language Eligibility Test and Main Written Test will be the two topics covered in the exam, which would go from 10 AM to 12:40 PM. The release date for the admission card will be announced later.
The Main Written Examination has 70 questions, whereas the Tamil Language Eligibility Test has 80. The Tamil Eligibility Test & Main Written Examination will have 150 total questions and will last for 160 minutes (2 hours and 40 minutes). The questions will be in a single-question booklet.
3,552 job openings in the Tamil Nadu Police have been announced by TNUSRB, comprising 2180 in the police department, 1091 in the investigation department, 161 jail warden positions, and 120 fireman positions.
Selecting a candidate
The three parts of the TNUSRB selection process include the written exam (Main Exam + Tamil Language Eligibility Test), physical efficiency test, and special marks. The total scores earned in the written exam, physical efficiency test, NCC, NSS, and special marks from sports and games are used to create the provisional select list.
