Qualifications for Admission to Aeronautical Engineering

BE or B.Tech: All applicants must have received a minimum aggregate in their XII science test.

All applicants for the B.Tech. The lateral Entry program must have earned a minimum cumulative grade in a three-year Diploma program that has been approved by the technical examination board of any state.

ME or M.Tech. - Two requirements must be met before applying for an ME/MTech degree, namely having an undergraduate degree and scoring well enough on the GATE admission test.

Admission to aeronautical engineering programs is available at all academic levels, including undergrad, grad, postgrad, diploma, and even doctoral. There are a few requirements that applicants must meet to be selected for any of the different levels of aeronautical engineering study.

Undergraduate degree: Candidates must have successfully finished their 10+2 science-stream examinations with the three required subjects—Physics, Math, and Chemistry—to be admitted to any college, reputable or not. Another requirement is that the candidate must have received a minimum overall exam score of 60%.

PG degree: Students must have completed or passed their B.Tech examinations and have obtained a valid score on the GATE admission test to be admitted to the ME or M.Tech program, which is the next level of study following a UG degree.
