1. Within the 30 per cent BC reservation, 3.5 per cent will be reserved for BC Muslims.
2. The Arunthathiyar group will receive 16 per cent of the seats reserved for SCs out of an 18 per cent quota.
3. At the time of counselling, the rule of reservation would be followed.
4. In addition to the reservation, BC, BCM, MBC/DNC, SC, SCA, and ST applicants are eligible for open competition selection based on merit.

7. After the merit list has been exhausted, any remaining vacant seats in the BCM Community will be filled on a merit basis by applicants from the BC community, without exceeding the BC community's overall quota.

Even if the required seats reserved for Arunthathiyars on a preferential basis have been filled, if more qualified Arunthathiyars are available, the excess number of Arunthathiyar candidates will be eligible to compete with Scheduled Castes other than Arunthathiyars in the inter-seat merit among them.
