B.Sc Physician Assistant
Physician Assistants are formally trained to offer diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative health care services in all medical specialties when a physician delegates them. They collect medical histories, perform first examinations on patients, order laboratory tests and x-rays, and aid doctors with diagnosis and treatment as members of a health care team.
Physician Assistants work in a variety of settings, including outpatient wards, wards, and critical care units, operation theatres, and other super specialty units such as cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, neurology, gastroenterology, urology, orthopedics, oncology, endocrinology, head and neck and plastic surgery, catheterization labs, coronary care units, organ transplant units, and trauma care, among others.
In our country, the breadth of this training is enormous. They can work as B.Sc Physician Assistants in hospitals, medical software companies, medical tourism, medical insurance, and medical research, among other places.
